FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is the process of restoring thinning or lost hair by implanting healthy hair follicles from a donor area of the scalp. This area is selected by the health of hair and is often taken from the back of the head to ensure the best hair transplant results.
FUT / STRIP (Follicular Unit Transplant) involves a technique where a thin strip of healthy hair-bearing skin, from a hair-rich area of the scalp (where hair is genetically programmed to continue growing for life) is harvested and transplanted to an area of hair loss.
